Industry executives said consumers shifted to consuming content on their smartphones and postponed upgrade of their existing television sets in urban and semi-urban areas with the popularity of video streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hotstar.
Snapdeal had claimed that its order volumes had grown significantly since May 18 when ecommerce was allowed to sell non-essentials across the country except in containment zones
